Timeline

Verdegro was established in 2003 by Gerrit Verwijs and Sjoerd de Groot in Bergen op Zoom, originally focusing on the development of mobile traffic systems. The company name 'Verdegro' is derived from a combination of the founders' surnames.

Verdegro produces the first ever LED solar powered arrow board trailer.

Verdegro introduces the Truck Mounted Attenuator – EU.

Following the success of the LED solar-powered arrowboard trailer, Verdegro relocated to a new production facility in Roosendaal. Verdegro got the largest European tender for mobile traffic systems in history, securing an order for 320 car-Drips, which are still commonly seen across the Netherlands.

Due to its growing success, Verdegro moved to a larger production facility in Etten-Leur, establishing itself as one of Europe's leading producers of mobile traffic systems. The significant expansion in hybrid product production has led to numerous breakthroughs in traffic engineering.

Verdegro introduces the Auto Cone. A conelaying machine able to put down and pick up traffic cones.

Verdegro opens their new in-house crash test facility in Etten-Leur. Allowing tests to be performed on their safety systems.

Verdegro launches their new Mobile Lane Signaling system.

Verdegro launches the Truck Mounted Attenuator – US according NCHRP 350 TL-3.

The Trailer TMA-US was launched acc. NCHRP 350 - TL3.

The Light TMA (LTMA) was launched acc. NCHRP 350- TL2.

Verdegro presents the introduction of the hybrid light towers collection.

During 2015 and 2016 it took 34 full scale crash tests and redesigns to develop the No.1 MASH TMA. Finally the last 4 full scale crash tests at the Texas Transportation institute has proven the unbelievable work this team had done, based on results! In the meantime an artist made the incredible BLADE brand design. Now the brand 'BLADE' was born!

Verdegro introduces the production of the BLADE – Truck Mounted Attenuator.

Verdegro establishes Verdegro USA LLC in the U.S.

Verdegro acquires a new and larger production facility in Etten-Leur.

Verdegro introduces the LED Light Tower Bucket Hybrid. A new hybrid LED light tower with unique bucket handling.

Verdegro introduces the LED Light Tower Trailer-Hybrid XL. A larger version of the existing hybrid LED light tower.

Verdegro introduces the BLADE – Trailer Truck Mounted Attenuator.

Verdegro launches the Incident Management Truck (IMT).

Verdegro introduces the Auto Cone 2.0, an upgraded version of the previous iteration. This new conelaying machine is able to handle up to 500 traffic cones fully automatically.

Verdegro Group is now officially certified under NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015. Evaluation of the quality management system took place in accordance with TÜV Nederland’s certification regulations for the field of application: Development, production, sales, maintenance and repair of mobile traffic safety systems, light towers and product related parts. Also providing product related technical training.

Verdegro launches the RAIN-SKID set.

Verdegro starts with an expansion of the current production facility in Etten-Leur. The new warehouse having a surface area of 2500m².

Verdegro launches the LED Light Tower Solar (LLTS).

Verdegro Group is now officially certified under NEN-EN-ISO 45001:2023, NEN-EN-ISO 14001:2015 and has been re-certified for NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015.
