innovations for greater roadside safety

During a safety walk on the A5, several innovative safety measures were tested in practice as part of the update to the Dutch CROW guidelines for roadworks (96a/96b).  

At a closed-off work zone, representatives from organisations including Rijkswaterstaat, CROW, Bouwend Nederland, contractors and suppliers had the opportunity to explore and assess new solutions in terms of safety, traffic flow and practical applicability.  

One of the solutions demonstrated was our VanGuard! This innovation improves the visibility of roadworks and provides additional protection for workers operating alongside the road 💪  

Together with Mourik Infra B.V., Verdegro is developing innovations that further enhance the safety of roadside workers. The VanGuard is a great example of this collaboration. The insights gained during the safety walk will contribute to the further development of the VanGuard and the guidelines for safe working alongside the road!
