VanGuard TMA (CEN/TS 16786 TMA-80)
Verdegro’s VanGuard is the world’s first TMA for closed vans. It is available in 3 versions: rear mounted, top mounted and swing mounted.
THE VANGUARD TMA
Available with various arrow boards, VMS signs, or a combination of both to suit your needs. For the Top- and Swing-Mounted versions, the rear doors remain fully usable. The tow hitch remains usable on all versions.
VANGUARD REAR MOUNTED
Transport Position
- The rear mounted VanGuard TMA has a transport height of 3050 mm / 10 ft. This variant is the standard VanGuard model.
- This Vanguard version is based on a L3H2 closed van model, dimensions can be different depending on van model used.
Operational Position
- Due to the tilting frame, the cushion unfolds from the transport position into a 90-degree operational position. In this position, the system has a total length of 2160 mm / 7 ft and a width of 1830 mm / 6 ft.
VANGUARD TOP MOUNTED
Transport Position
- The top mounted VanGuard TMA has a transport height of 3230 mm / 10,6 ft. This is a new design within the Verdegro crash cushion range.
- This Vanguard version is based on a L3H2 closed van model, dimensions can be different depending on van model used.
Operational Position
- Instead of unfolding, the cushion in this variant slides down from top to bottom until it reaches its operational position. In this position, the system has a total length of 2060 mm / 6,8 ft and a width of 1980 mm / 6,5 ft.
VANGUARD SWING MOUNTED
Transport Position
- The swing mounted VanGuard TMA has a transport height of 3050 mm / 10 ft. In the transport position, this variant is identical to the standard VanGuard model.
- This Vanguard version is based on a L3H2 closed van model, dimensions can be different depending on van model used.
Operational Position
- Due to the rotation bracket, it is possible to rotate the rear crash cushion (sidewards), so the rear doors remain accessible. This is a new design within the Verdegro crash cushion range.

Including Mobitrack
- The Vanguard can optionally be fitted with Mobitrack. This means that the Vanguard can be tracked on Verdegro’s customer portal: Mobilityplanner.com.
Tailored To Your Needs
- The VanGuard is fully customisable. It can match any RAL colour, be fitted with different arrow boards and/or VMS signs, and is available in three variants. The VanGuard is available in both 12 / 24 Vdc.
Mobitrack
Mobitrack can be integrated into your products, providing accurate and real-time location data. It keeps a detailed record of past locations, allowing you to see where your products have been. Mobitrack is simple to integrate into both new and existing products.
Statistics show that many accidents still occur involving road users and workers. To enhance the safety of both drivers and workers, Mobitrack can be configured to work with safety alert systems. This integration allows it to send alerts to drivers, warning them of nearby workers and significantly increasing safety.
Mobitrack is automatically integrated with a wide range of safety alert systems, including Google, Waze, Flitsmeister, Monotch, and your country’s traffic control system. We are the only manufacturer with such extensive integration across various safety alert platforms.
Additionally, the advanced implementation of the Mobitrack module allows you to request detailed information about your products, ensuring you have all the necessary data at your disposal.
