Road Information System (RIS)
The Verdegro Road Information System (RIS) is a unique innovative machine that can be used as a Mobile Road Information System that can installed in a couple of hours and used in road constructions for longer periods. This unique system designed by Verdegro can be used for many purposes.

- A four-lane system available, this should be mounted manually on the existing mast.

System Overview & Application
- Modular Road Information System (RIS) based on a heavy-duty base frame
- Suitable for both portrait and landscape masts, including mounted LED displays / VMS signs
- Counterweight configuration adapted to 3-lane or 4-lane applications
Installation & Handling
- Designed for quick installation using a truck-mounted crane; system operational within approximately 2.5 hours
- Masts can be installed by truck-mounted crane and manually positioned
- LED displays / VMS signs mounted manually using truck mounted crane
Mast & Swivel System
- Equipped with hydraulic system for rotating over the road
- Configuration available for 3-lane and 4-lane applications
- Swivel range and mast positioning adapted to lane configuration
Ballast & Base Frame Construction
- Counterweight configuration adapted to 3- or 4-lane
- Lower frame ballasted with modular concrete blocks (Lego version), up to 10,000 kg / 22,046 lbs
- Transport weight approx. 7000 kg / 15,432 lbs excluding concrete blocks (Lego version)
- Lockable battery compartment integrated in the base frame
Diesel Engine & Battery System
- Kubota Z482 Diesel engine with DC generator
- Equipped with a 400 Ah / 24 Vdc AGM battery pack
Monitoring & Control
- Standard equipped with monitoring system for battery voltage, fuel level and LED failure detection
Software & Connectivity
- Supplied with user-friendly software package: 4G modem including software for remote programming and operation via the user-friendly, free Verdegro portal: www.mobilityplanner.com (excluding mandatory monthly data plan and SIM card with VPN connection)

Power Generation
- Equipped with a 24 Vdc diesel generator
- Powered by a 2-cylinder, water-cooled 24 Vdc Kubota diesel engine
- System designed for autonomous operation for a minimum of four weeks
Hydraulic System
- Electric hydraulic power unit integrated
- Power and hydraulic components installed inside lockable compartments
Fuel System
- Fuel tank fitted with level sensor, connected to control unit for monitoring
- Fuel tank fill point accessible from the front, equipped with lockable fuel cap
Emergency Power & Redundancy
- Emergency battery pack installed as back-up power supply
- In case of generator failure, system continues operating for at least 8 hours on emergency battery pack
Monitoring & Alarms
- Failure and status notifications available when SIM card / modem is installed
